Each original piece by Ance is a one-of-a-kind creation — crafted with museum-quality materials, gold leaf, and hand-applied pigments, often infused with musical notations and symbolic layering. These works are not only visual expressions, but personal letters to the world, born from years of study, intuition, and craftsmanship. 

4 collections of works:

"Made in Cyprus" is a cycle of art works made on the island with deep roots in Byzantine, Hellenic and ancient cultures. Ance is using national magazines, symbols and gold to speak about generational trauma Cyprus has witnessed in the last 50 years. 

"Sacred abstraction" - made in the deep connection with world known painter Marc Chagall since Ance had an strong tights with its hometown Vitebsk. Ance used the musical notes Chagall sung in the synagogue in his young age. There are lot of details you can see in each work - pay attention.

"National Celebration" - is a story of national song festival in Latvia included in the UNESCO heritage. Latvian tradition to celebrate St.John's day is closely connected with celebrating when the day is the longest and night is the shortest. Some of the paintings include charcoal from celebrational fireplaces. 

"Contemporary Sacred Reality" - cycle was made during Ance's master degree studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Dilemma between religion and human body, cold and warm states of mind and the feeling that "somebody is watching you" even when your phone is turned off.

Original artworks are part of private and institutional collections across Europe, USA, Russia, Belarus and beyond, including the Marc Chagall Museum in Vitebsk, the National Museum of Kaluga, Museum of Ghetto and Latvian holocaust collection. Every original is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, artwork documentation, and personal signature from the artist.
